Friday April 11, 2025:  Cadillac has arrived in New Zealand to entirely reimagine the showroom experience, with the Cadillac Auckland Experience Centre now open.

The antithesis of the traditional dealership experience, the Cadillac Auckland Experience Centre is designed to deliver exactly what the name implies — a space for people to experience the effortless luxury of the Cadillac brand, wherever they are on the ownership journey.

It’s why New Zealand’s first Cadillac centre isn’t located on a vast outer-urban site, or on any traditional ‘auto alley’. Instead, Cadillac has rejuvenated a stunning two-storey, colonial-style building on Auckland’s lively Karangahape Road — home to boutiques, bars and dining.

The Cadillac Auckland Experience Centre will fit right in among its fun and funky neighbours, welcoming guests with its exposed brick facade and large glazed windows that allow for ample natural light, while inside, textured greys, sharp lines and bold lighting create a clean, modern and welcoming space.

More than just a showroom, the Cadillac Auckland Experience Centre will act as the home of all things Cadillac, combining a specialised vehicle-delivery area with a luxurious guest lounge, a feature-vehicle ‘runway’, a design and personalisation centre, and an on-site service centre.

Cadillac is a brand that prides itself on constantly reimagining the idea of modern luxury, and that ethos doesn’t start and finish with our vehicles, said Jess Bala, Managing Director, General Motors Australia and New Zealand.

It’s why the Cadillac Auckland Experience Centre is unlike any showroom our customers have ever experienced before. It’s a place to experience all that Cadillac offers, and a place designed to engage with Cadillac customers throughout their entire ownership journey.

Taking pride of place in the Cadillac Auckland Experience Centre will be the new LYRIQ, which arrives in New Zealand in two well-equipped grades — Luxury and Sport — and delivers an unrivalled ownership experience befitting the marque.

Along with a five-year unlimited-kilometre factory vehicle warranty1, a five-year roadside assistance package2 and a five-year complimentary scheduled servicing program3, the LYRIQ’s GM battery technology is also covered by an eight-year/160,000km Electric Vehicle Propulsion Battery Warranty. To further enhance the ownership experience, Cadillac has partnered with ChargeNet to offer customers a $400 charging credit with every LYRIQ purchase. 4

But Cadillac’s first model won’t have the space to itself for long, with the LYRIQ set to be joined by the performance-focused LYRIQ-V, as well as the OPTIQ and VISTIQ — all produced in factory right-hand drive for the New Zealand market.

The VISTIQ — a stunning three-row SUV — unlocks luxurious electric motoring for larger families, while the OPTIQ will act as an exciting new entry point to the Cadillac range, sitting beneath the LYRIQ in terms of size.
